Epilepsy Action provides help, information and advice for everyone with epilepsy, their families and carers. Literature, self-help groups throughout the UK and specialist nurses also available.

Brain Tumour Charity The Brain Tumour Charity is the UK’s largest dedicated brain tumour charity, committed to fighting brain tumours on all fronts. We fund scientific and clinical research into brain tumours and offer support and information to those affected, whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Child Growth Foundation – support individuals who have growth problems and offer support and information to those affected and their families.

FABLE (For A Better Life with Epilepsy) – funds vagus nerve stimulation therapy. Offers help and support via patients database to put people in touch with each other. 

National Autistic Society give help and support and accessible services to individuals with autism and their families.  

Contact A Family – bring families whose children have disabilities together – particularly rare conditions.   

Family Fund Trust - provides grants for severely disabled children.

Disability Alliance- Provides advice and information on social security benefits for disabled children and adults. Publishers of the Disability Rights Handbook.
